CHICCHI PLAYING THE VENTURES "PIPELINE"

It's a sad day in a young boy's life .....

My Book My Life Stories from my past

It's a sad day in a young boy's life ….

…. when he loses his dog. Soon after we moved into the house at 1718 Dixion Street in Redondo Beach. I got a dog, he was just a little black and white mutt dog, that only a little boy could love. His name was “ KURA “ my boy, I remember he use to walk with me to school. About half way to school I would have to shoo him away and tell him to go home. After school on my way home as I came to the top of my street, there was KURA my boy. As soon as he saw mw he would run like the wind and jump up on me. He would lick my face... and I would say KURA my boy … KURA my boy, and we would make our way home . I didn't have him for very long as he had a very bad habit of knocking over all the trash cans on our street on trash day. I tried to tie him up but he always found a way to get loose. One thursday coming home there was no KURA to greet me... and by the time I got home my mom told me the dog catcher ( aka animal control ) came by to pick him up. Due to complaints from the neighbors.... of course did what all little boys did when their dog is taken … I cried and cried and cried.... It would be years before I would get another dog … and yeah him name was “ KURA “ my boy too.
